The Physical Adeptness and Literacy Model Institution (PALMI) Committee recognizes schools that excel at cultivating environments where students learn and thrive through movement. PALMI is an inter-agency committee made up of representation from the South Carolina Department of Education, the South Carolina Department of Public Health and the Alliance for a Healthier Generation.
