News from the SCAHPERD Membership Committee

As the Membership Committee co-chairs, our main goal is to help grow SCAHPERD and to assure we are serving, communicating with and meeting the needs of our members. This includes recruiting new members but also retaining our current members. 

One of the main ways we do this is through the SCAHPERD Ambassador Program. A SCAHPERD ambassador is someone who agrees to be the point of communication for their district. This allows all physical education teachers in all districts (members and non-members) to get information about SCAHPERD, upcoming professional development events, networking opportunities, advocacy efforts...things that can impact what we do on a daily basis. The ambassador’s role is crucial and we value what they do and rely on them to be that communication link for all district professionals. 

With that said, we are still seeking Ambassadors for some districts. If you
