Stronger Together

Every year, I wish that my summer would last a little longer…it always goes by way too fast!  Even so, the hustle and bustle of getting ready for a new school year always brings excitement of what is to come.

In my district, we are lucky to have scheduled professional development for health and physical education teachers.  We meet and learn, but the thing that my teachers love best about these days is being together. We laugh and joke, we share ideas, we create lessons, we go to lunch, we learn from each other. We are an assortment of different experience levels and abilities who work together to better our programs. We are a network of professionals who are stronger together.  

SCAHPERD and its Associations give all of us many opportunities to build and grow our own statewide network of professionals through webinars and professional development offerings throughout the year, and at the annual 2023 SCAHPERD Conference, November 17-19! I hope to see you there to connect and collaborate!  Together…we…are…stronger!
