I hope you are all ready for a great SCAHPERD 2021 Conference, November 12-14 in Myrtle Beach!  FEAR to FUN in 2021!! I’m excited to announce that Jamie Sparks will be our keynote speaker and guest presenter as we kick off the fun for first face to face conference since COVID 19 showed its face. If you have ever interacted with Jamie you know he is the perfect speaker to kick off our conference with a bit of fun and major knowledge in our content areas!!  If you don’t know Jamie, let me share a little about him. 

Jamie is the National School Health Program Manager for ETR, a national non-profit working to advance health equity. Before joining ETR in 2019, he served as the Coordinated School Health Director for the Kentucky Department of Education from 2010-2018. Jamie is a recent past president of SHAPE America and currently serves as the Kentucky SHAPE, Executive Director. (ED) Prior to becoming the ED, Jamie served in various leadership roles with the Kentucky Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (now Kentucky SHAPE) including the 2014 Vice President of Physical Education, and the 2016 KAHPERD President.
